Quite liked Annie Nightingale to be fair, something about her thats quite sexy, and as a pubescent schoolboy she certainly did it for me.
Whispering Bob is almost iconic to the show though, so can see the purists would not have been impressed with his replacement, unless of course they were like me and she gave them the horn...........

Roxy music on now , I used to think they were shit . But my mate was playing the Viva album when I visited him about 15 years ago and I had another go eith them.
one of the most under rated bands - my mate went on their world tour as Manzanera's guitar tech circa 2002 too

A lot of time it wasn't live in the early 70's. It was very hard to get a decent sound in that particular studio so bands would re-record elsewhere.
